The digital gift card will be emailed to YOUR email address after purchase. The email will contain the gift card number as well as a qr code. You will need to screenshot or you can forward the email to your recipient. An example of what it looks like is in the picture above (I marred out the gift card number and the qr code).
Sorry I couldn't customize it more as this is the default gift card that comes with my shopify plan.
